Root Green Shoppe- DIY Kokedama

Each ticket is for one person to make 3 small Kokedamas, this will include all materials for you to make your very own moss balls. Age friendly. This plant workshop is held at the LBT Field Station in Holgate.

Using Haworthia succulents, we will craft a moss ball around the plant into its new “pot” to bind the roots into a circular shape, which follows the ideology of the bonsai practice. Kokedama’s are great to hang, for centerpieces, and to add an artistic element into any space. Water weekly, or when it feels “light,” place where your chosen plant normally desires.
