Root Green Shoppe-DIY Rock & Sand Landscape “Succulent Zen Garden”

Each ticket is for one person to create Succulent Zen Garden with 3 plants and includes all materials for each person make their own landscape. Age friendly. This plant workshop is held at the LBT Field Station in Holgate.

Japanese Zen Gardens are mostly found around temples and monasteries. They were made to encourage meditation and connect the practices to the elements of nature. Usually made with sand, rock, and very little plants these landscapes help moods, stress, and relaxation. Made mostly with odd numbers and using white sand these gardens will help still the mind and create peace. We will use haworthia succulents, which are plant-parent friendly and pet friendly.
